I love that one of the key characters, who does a heck of a lot butt kicking etc. This is full of action, so the illustrations means there is plenty going on, my son says his favorite part is when the young girl, Emily, used her powers to knock one of the evil cronies off the building.
A book that I rather enjoyed though at the time they didn't have the second in the series and though I kept an eye out for it, I soon forgot about it, until I saw it up for review! I showed it to my seven year old and I got a gasp quickly followed by "can I read that!" so I knew he would enjoy it, sure enough, half an hour later I got a groan from him when I told him it was time to get ready for dinner.
